, but I stayed at home and missed it.

Hearing that they were coming back out today, I decided to make the trip.
As my friend Chris and I were leaving the show, we drove on over to see if I could get some photos of the two vehicles together. There were no spaces, so I improvised.
For these photos, I’m parked sideways, in the middle of the street. In a crosswalk. The rear end of the truck was already blocking half the road, so I figured there was no harm in putting the car there for a few minutes. Besides, if someone did call me out on it, I could reply with,
“Well, (points at truck) he started it!”
That wasn’t necessary, since most people were too busy taking photos of the contrast between the two vehicles to complain.

Big tire is big. And apparently, heavy tire is also heavy. Tire/wheel combo on this thing is like 600lbs.
We ended up meeting with macanamera and his buddy as we were leaving and stopped for a chat. I enjoyed meeting and talking to both of them. He’s had the thing for about a year, and discussing the thing was a riot. Then, somewhere in the discussion, someone asked us...
“Do you want to go for a ride?”
“DO I?????”
macanamera probably has a lot more detail/stories about this thing that I do, but it was pretty cool. There was one story of driving the thing in seven feet of river water that I wouldn’t mind hearing more of.

I dunno, that guy striding purposefully across the parking lot looks like he is coming to talk to you about how inappropriate it is to park like that!
